Week One!

Week 1 is already over! I think the first week was a great, and successful start to this class. I feel like I'm already learning a lot about Microsoft Word. I was always a Google Docs person throughout high school and such, I would never find myself using Word. However after this first week, I can already see how much professional your documents can look with Microsoft Word. I am excited to get into Word and learn how to make my own professional document.

Good job on finishing Week 1 :-)

Move on to Week 2, no need to wait!

  2. I completely agree! However, I learned that I need to pay more attention to the instruction on the assignment.

  3. Yep. I didn't realize how advanced and feature-friendly Microsoft Word was becoming over the years. Refreshing, to state the least.

  6. It's interesting that you had more exposure to Google Docs rather than Microsoft Word. Was that because of school? My 16 year old sister uses Google Meets everyday and I find crazy that Google has dominated so much of our daily lives as well as our children's.

  7. Yes. I can not wait to learn all the features and be able to make a professional document and use word more than merely typing a document. I am not familiar with google docs and do not know much on what it offers to compare both.

  8. We're in the same boat, Google Docs was my go to because class assignments were posted through Google classroom. Therefore using Google's related applications was perfect, simple, and exactly what was needed to fulfill each task. However, Word does offer an entirely new and professional world. I'm excited too!

  9. I used to use google documents as well, but now that I am learning how to use Microsoft Office, I've realized that there is so much more in Word than in Google documents.

  11. As much as I like the Office programs, I have a bias towards the Google programs (Google docs, pages, etc.)
